Moonstone is a feldspar mineral known for adularescence, an optical effect created when light interacts with microscopic layers within the stone. These internal structures produce the soft glow and flashes of color that make moonstone one of the most recognizable members of the feldspar family.

This polished moonstone sphere displays soft cream, beige, and pale peach tones with areas of blue adularescence that emerge as the sphere is turned in the light. Internal layering, subtle translucency, and natural feldspar textures create shifting depth throughout the specimen, while the spherical cut allows the optical effect to be viewed from multiple angles.

Selected for its visible blue flash, warm coloration, and natural internal character, this specimen offers a classic display of moonstone's distinctive optical properties.
