A charming matched pair of miniature Tabasco geodes from Mexico, each measuring approximately 1" in length and displayed together on a labeled acrylic specimen stand.
Despite their tiny size, these geodes pack in an impressive amount of detail. Each half reveals a sparkling druzy quartz interior surrounded by fine concentric bands of agate in warm golden yellow, cream, gray, and soft brown. The two halves complement one another beautifully, with subtle differences in color and crystal formation visible across their interiors.
Tabasco geodes are prized for their unusually small size and intricate interiors, essentially miniature versions of much larger agate geodes. Their compact scale makes them particularly fun specimens for close inspection and an easy addition to a mineral cabinet, desk, shelf, or small-space collection.
This pair comes with the labeled acrylic display stand pictured, allowing the specimens to be displayed upright while identifying their locality.
