A vivid Malawi agate half featuring a polished face filled with rich red-orange fortification banding, smoky blue-gray chalcedony, and small flashes of golden color.

At approximately 1.4", this is a compact specimen with an impressive amount of detail. The saturated rust and scarlet bands form sharp, angular patterns across the face, contrasting beautifully with the cooler translucent gray-blue layers. Around the perimeter, the polished interior gives way to the agate's rugged natural exterior, preserving the character of the original nodule.

The specimen is polished on the display face while retaining its natural outer matrix. Its bold coloration and intricate banding make it an excellent miniature cabinet specimen and a particularly eye-catching example of Malawi agate.

The agate comes with the labeled acrylic display stand pictured and is secured using removable, non-damaging museum putty.
