A striking 3.2" Florida agatized coral specimen featuring bold black, blue-gray, and white agate surrounding a beautiful botryoidal interior.
The polished face reveals layers of fine white banding framing a dark ribbon of nearly black agate, with subtle blue tones appearing throughout. At the center, an open cavity is filled with rounded white to pale baby-blue botryoidal chalcedony, creating a soft, cloud-like texture against the sharply defined agate bands.
The specimen retains its natural, unpolished exterior, creating a dramatic contrast with the polished face and preserving evidence of the original coral structure.
Under UV light, the specimen fluoresces in cool blue-white tones, bringing out additional banding and internal details that are much subtler under ordinary light.
