A tiny pocket of ancient water remains sealed inside this translucent agate, and when backlit and the specimen is tilted, the visible bubble moves through the internal cavity.

Known as enhydro agate, these unusual specimens form when water becomes trapped within a mineral-lined cavity during the stone's formation and remains enclosed as additional silica seals the pocket. The mobile bubble visible inside this specimen provides a window into that hidden fluid inclusion.

In ordinary light, the agate has warm honey, caramel, and softly translucent chalcedony tones with portions of its natural exterior preserved. When backlit, however, the entire specimen illuminates in brilliant amber-orange and the internal structure becomes dramatically more visible.

The specimen has been cut with a flat base so it stands independently while retaining much of its original natural surface. Most importantly, the internal bubble is mobile and can be visibly observed moving up and down within the fluid pocket as the specimen is tilted.
