A substantial 5.1" Megalodon (Otodus megalodon) tooth recovered from the waters off the Carolina coast and sourced directly from the diver who found it.

Unlike heavily restored display pieces, this specimen remains completely natural. The enamel, root, and characteristic bourlette are all preserved as found, offering an authentic glimpse into the life, and afterlife, of one of the largest predators to ever swim Earth's oceans.

The bourlette resembled melted chocolate, with warm tones and unique character. The root also displays numerous natural marine boring holes created by organisms that colonized the tooth during its millions of years resting on the seafloor. These features document its long journey through time and make it uniquely its own.

Pulled from the ocean, cleaned, and prepared for display, this tooth is ready for a collection shelf, fossil cabinet, office, or curiosity display.
