A broad 4.5" Megalodon (Otodus megalodon) tooth recovered from the waters off the Carolina coast and sourced directly from the diver who found it.

This specimen remains completely natural and has never been repaired, reconstructed, or artificially enhanced. The enamel, root, and bourlette are preserved as found, retaining the authentic characteristics developed during millions of years on the ocean floor.

While measuring 4.5" in length, this tooth stands out for its exceptional width of approximately 3.5", creating the classic broad triangular profile that makes Megalodon teeth so recognizable. Natural ocean wear has produced a striking contrast between the dark root and lighter enamel, while preserving the tooth's impressive overall form.

Recovered from the seafloor, cleaned, and prepared for display, this specimen is ready for a fossil collection, office display, curiosity cabinet, or natural history collection.
